Bridge is one of few outdoor projects continuing

Given the early onset of winter, much outdoor construction has either stopped or been curtailed. “The majority of projects if they need any concrete poured would be hard to move forward. “The bridge is an exception. They are trying to proceed as best as possible,” Humboldt City Administrator Aaron Burnett said at Monday's Humboldt City Council meeting. “They are continuing at a slow pace. I know they hope to pour the deck with cold weather protection for the deck. Whether they can get to that point yet this winter, we’ll have to see. They are required to meet all specifications for the bridge,” the city administrator added.
