Humboldt girls 2nd in state golf!

The Humboldt High girls' golf team finished runner-up in the Class 4A State Golf Tournament which ended today (June 2) at Marshalltown. Washington won with 698 while Humboldt shot 722. Dubuque Wahlert was third at 733 in the eight-team field.Humboldt senior Savannah Schnetzer finished sixth individually in shooting a 173. Humboldt boys 4th in state golf

Humboldt ended up 4th in the Class 3A state golf tournament after the second day of competition at Spring Valley Golf Course on Saturday (May 30). Webster City won the team title with 626, followed by Mt Vernon at 637, Cenyerville with 644, Humboldt at 648, Decorah at 649, Adel- ADM with 655, Williamsburg with 662 and Central DeWitt with 664.Christian Birdsell shot 152 overall to place 3rd individually in leading Humboldt.
