Competing as one of the elite teams in the North Central Conference, the Humboldt High School girls’ basketball team had plenty of accomplishments to look back on in the recently completed 2016-17 season.
The Wildcats, who challenged for the league title right up until the final week of the regular season, had three players on the league’s all-conference team chosen by the league coaches.
Humboldt seniors Avery Terwilliger, Abby Zaugg and Halie George were chosen to the all-conference team, which includes Terwilliger on the first-team unit and Zaugg and George on the second-team squad.
They helped Humboldt compile an overall record of 16-7, 11-3 and tied for second in the conference standings.
