Courthouse re-opens

The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors on Monday agreed to reopen the county courthouse albeit with some requirements.
Supervisor Chair Erik Underberg asked department heads what protocols they would like to see in place.
Humboldt County Treasurer Jana Bratland said her office probably gets the most foot traffic of any in the courthouse, and there is only room for three customers at a time in the office, while still maintaining adequate social distancing. It is asked that people visiting the treasurer’s office self limit to three at a time in the office. Other customers are asked to wait and seat themselves in the chairs along the north wall. The chairs are being moved so customers can see inside the office.
