The Red Barn is a key structure among the buildings that make up the Humboldt Museum. It has housed agricultural displays since it arrived on the grounds in 1971. Lately there has been a leak in the roof that endangered these historical items and a new roof was needed. The Historical Association is grateful to the Humboldt Community Fund for its grant for half of the project and to the Curt Weinert Construction Company for installing the premium pearl rib steel roof.
The Red Barn is a mini-museum in itself; it contains an excellent variety of agricultural displays.
