Led by Kendal Clark's victories in the shot put and discus, the Humboldt girls' track team won the team title of their own invitational Monday night (April 26).
The Wildcats totaled 152 points to outdistance runner-up Estherville-Lincoln Central, which had 110 points.
Clark, coming off her Drake Relays performance where she placed third in the discus, set a new meet record in the event with a toss of 135-8. Clipping the old mark of 130-2 set by Renetta Seiler of Algona Garrigan in 1993.
Humboldt's other victories came in the 4x100 relay, the 4x200 relay and shuttle hurdle relay.
Humboldt also claimed the team title in the Storm Lake Relays on April 29. Clark set new meet records in the shot put (44-3.5) and discus (146-0).
