Humboldt County Memorial Hospital Ambulance Director Mike Sexe feels fortunate they received their new 2021 ambulance after waiting for it for a year.
That’s because ambulances ordered today are two years out on delivery.
“We’re glad we ordered when we did. The ambulance box (back end) is available, but the chassis are hard to get,” Sexe said.
The 2021 Ford F-550 is their second four-wheel drive vehicle joining the 2020 Ford F-450 ambulance.

It has taken three years to get to a 10th anniversary. If that sounds a little confusing, some explanation is due.

We are pleased to be able to go ahead with our 10th meal raising in Humboldt County,” Team 4 Hungry member Allen Goche said.
“We are extremely blessed to have the cooperation of the local faith community and people of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to participate,” A. Goche said.
