Graduating from high school can be a scary time. Just ask Humboldt dentist Dr. Cody Olson.
A Humboldt High graduate himself in 2003, Olson said he remembered being excited and nervous his senior year.
While those emotions are natural, he encouraged high school seniors to reflect their successes thus far in life and look forward with optimism toward promising futures.
Olson was speaking to students in attendance at the Rotary Top 20 Banquet held May 8 at the Zion Luthern Church.
Humboldt's graduation ceremonies will be this Sunday, May 19, at 2 p.m., in the high school gym. West Bend-Mallard will have their high school commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 19 at 2:30 p.m. at the high school in West Bend.
See the graduation section in this week's Humboldt Independent, on sale today.
