Isaiah Busick, one of the top performers on the Humboldt Wildcat baseball team in recent seasons, signed a national letter of intent last week to attend Central College in Pella and play baseball.
Busick, a versatile player who excels pitching from the mound as well as playing in the field and slugging at the plate, is happy to have his college choice complete.
“It feels great. It’s a long recruiting process. Time to get to work in the winter and I’m excited for what is to come,” Busick said.
“It’s always been a dream since I was a little kid. Now I have an opportunity to play for coach Carey (Adam Carey, head coach) at Central. It’s a dream come true,” Busick said.
“I like the kinesiology program at Central. That will be my major. They’re a school that has good academics. I like the support they have there with their teacher to student ratio,” Busick said. “It’s one of the many things that attracted me to the school.”
