Fresh off of being ranked No. 1 in Class 3A, the Humboldt High volleyball team moved their record to 7-0 overall, 2-0 in the North Central Conference after sweeping the Webster City Lynx in three straight sets in the Humboldt gym on Thursday night, Sept. 3.
The Wildcats won by scores of 25-16, 25-19 and 25-14.
Humboldt will return to action at Eagle Grove on Sept. 10 in a conference quad that will include Algona and Fort Dodge St. Edmond.
Humboldt, which was ranked No. 2 in the first statewide rankings, moved up to No. 1 earlier in the day, it was announced by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
