HHS girls push St. Edmond, fall 63-52

The fast-improving Humboldt High School girls' basketball team pushed Fort Dodge St. Edmond for four quarters before falling, 63-52 in a North Central Conference game in Humboldt Tuesday night (Jan. 28).Kessa Kuyper scored 18 points and Lauren Friesth had 12 to lead the Wildcats, who slipped to 7-8 overall, 7-6 in the NCC. Maggy Duffield added eight, Lindsey Johnson five, Abbey Gargano three and three others had two each, they include April Jones, Sarah Peters and Karlee Peyton.The Wildcats return to action at Clarion on Friday, Jan. 31.See complete story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
