Wildcat girls, boys sweep Clarion-Goldfield

Humboldt's varsity girl/boy basketball teams swept two North Central Conference games from Clarion-Goldfield on Jan. 31 at Clarion. The Humboldt girls were victorious by a 50-39 final tally while the Wildcat boys rolled to a 69-34 triumph.The Wildcat boys, 12-3 overall, 11-3 in the NCC, were led in scoring by Jack Curran's 13 points, Austin Zylstra with 12 and Brady Ross with 11. Clarion-Goldfield fell to 2-16 overall, 2-13 in the NCC.The Wildcats return home on Tuesday, Feb. 4, to host Algona. See complete story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
