World nationals finish fuels Cole Edge for 2015

Cole Edge is poised to take his steer wrestling to a new level. Edge, a Humboldt native who now resides in Oklahoma (Durant), competed in his first professional world national finals last month (Dec. 4-13) in Las Vegas and ended up with a fifth-place average. The experience has only motivated Edge even more as he enters the 2015 circuit. “I would have liked to have finished higher in the world standings. A top five is what I was shooting for. A couple little things go a little different and I could have been there. I’m happy for what I got but I’m motivated to do better in 2015,” Edge said.
