Dodgen Industries sold to Des Moines company

The assets of Dodgen Industries have been sold to a Des Moines investment company, HBF Investments, LLC. Dodgen Industries manufactures the Born Free line of motorhomes and employs 40 people at the manufacturing facilities in Humboldt’s original industrial park on Highway 169 North. The new owners say they will retain all employees and have plans to grow the company, expand and hire more people. Jeff Butler has been named President of Born Free. Butler brings 30 years of experience in the RV industry.
