HUMBOLDT BOYS ADVANCE TO 3A STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT!

Humboldt won a Class 3A boys' district golf tournament at Denison on Friday (May 22) to earn a trip to the state tournament. Humboldt and Adel ADM were tied at 311 after two rounds but Humboldt won via the tie-breaker on its No. 5 score of 85 by Casey Kayser. Christian Birdsell, who was fourth individually at 38-37--75, paced Humboldt's scoring.The Wildcats will now prepare for the state tournament to be held May 29-30 at Spring Valley Golf Course north of Livermore.See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
