Thomas, Wartburg women have high goals this fall

Humboldt native Madison Thomas is set for her final season on the Wartburg College women's soccer team.
Humboldt’s Madison Thomas feels 2017 can be a special year for the Wartburg College women’s soccer team.
Thomas, a 2014 Humboldt High School graduate, begins her fourth and final year with the Knights, who finished 10-5-4 overall in 2014, 5-2-1 in Iowa Conference play.
She played in 13 games in 2016 and earned academic all-conference for the second straight year for the Knights, coached by Tiffany Pins, a Wartburg graduate in her seventh season as head coach.
