Wildcat girls upended by Cougars, Cadets

The Humboldt varsity girls' basketball team had a hard time getting their offense in gear Tuesday night and fell to Manson-Northwest Webster, 48-38 in a non-conference matchup inside the Humboldt gym. The Wildcats were paced in scoring by Mady Lange with 18 points. Kendal Clark was next with five while Jayda Hoefer and Ashlyn Clark each had four. Trinity Helmer made three and Jori Hajek added two. Bae Arnold and Quinn Mooney had one each.
On Friday, Nov. 30, Humboldt traveled to Iowa Falls to open North Central Conference play and came up on the short end of a 58-33 final score. The victory moved IFA to 4-0 on the season.
Humboldt, now 1-2 overall, will resume play at home against Algona on Dec. 7.
