Boys win 9 events to take team title

Humboldt won nine events to take the team title of the Nielsen Family Indoor coed track meet held March 21, inside the Humboldt Recreation Center.
For the Wildcats, Jamison Heinz won the 60-meter dash in 7.46 seconds while Quinton Orr won the 1,600-meters in 4:54.07. Carter Theesfeld won the 3,200-meters in 11:52.74 and Owen Terwilliger threw the shot 49-1.
Humboldt also won the 4x200 relay, the 4x400 relay, the 1,600-meter medley relay, the 4x800 and 4x60-meter shuttle hurdle relay events.
The Wildcats will open their outdoor season at Eagle Grove on Tuesday, April 2.
