Wildcat girls upset Bulldogs, 65-50

The Humboldt girls basketball team pulled off a big win on Tuesday night (Jan. 28) by beating No. 13 ranked (Class 3A) Hampton-Dumont-CAL, 65-50 in a North Central Conference game inside the Wildcat gym. Kendal Clark scored 20 points, Mady Lange made 15 and Jayda Hoefer netted 11 to lead Humboldt. Lauren Meader led the Bulldogs (13-2) with 24 points. Avery Hanson added 18.
Humboldt, 9-8 overall, 4-7 in the NCC. The Wildcats play at Clarion on Friday, Jan. 31.
