The Humboldt/Dakota City Noon Kiwanis in conjunction with the city of Humboldt Recreation Center, is pleased to announced that the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Humboldt is back and moving outdoors this year.
The hunt will be Saturday, April 16 at 9:30 a.m. on the east parking lot of the Humboldt Recreation Center. There is additional parking available at the Humboldt High School and Humboldt Middle School lots.
There will be candy and prizes for three age groups, preschool, kindergarten and first grade, and second and third grades.
Each of the age groups will be eligible for a grand prize of a large Easter basket with toys and games and a great grand prize of a new bicycle!
Children should bring grocery bags or Easter baskets for collection of candy. Many of the candies will include special wrapped messages good for free gifts at participating merchants. Many of the merchants are open Saturday mornings, so children and their parents will have time to redeem their prizes after the hunt. There will be an appearance by the Easter Bunny!
