Wildcat girls 2nd in Humboldt Relays

Humboldt won three events and placed second in their own Humboldt Relays track and field competition on Tuesday night, April 26.

The Wildcats finished with 136 team points, five shy of first-place Pocahontas Area at 141. Fort Dodge St. Edmond was third at 101, followed by Estherville-LC with 90, Hampton-Dumont-CAL 56, Southeast Valley 77 and Webster City with 67.

Paige DeWinter won the 200 meters in 27.8 seconds. Teammate Morgan Mann was second at 27.9. Mann won the 400 meters in 1:03.6. Mann also took the high jump with a leap of 4-10.

Humboldt will return to action in the Storm Lake Relays on Thursday, April 28.
