The No. 2 ranked Humboldt football team pitched their third straight shutout of the season in a 17-0 victory over Estherville-Lincoln Central Friday night (Sept. 9) in Estherville.
Lance Coon rushed for 156 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Wildcats. Trever Beach kicked a 34-yard field goal as Humboldt moved to 3-0 on the season.
The Wildcats return home on Friday, Sept. 16, when they host Boone in their final non-district game of the season.
