The Biz puts a new spin on things in its new digs

A business career that began from her own grief and a desire to help others is doing quite well entering its 12th year in December, and now has a new location and expanded space.

We’re talking about The Biz here, or more formally known as Humboldt Engraving and Gifts, and talking about owner Renae Dreyer.

The business relocated across the street from 617 Sumner Ave. to 626 Sumner Ave. last week. It will be celebrating its grand re-opening this Friday, Sept. 16, with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m.

Dreyer and her staff are excited with their new retail space and expanded production area. “This is about three-times the size of our old store,” she said. “We were cramped for space in the old building and it wasn’t handicapped accessible.
