The possibility of the Three Rivers Tails Dog Park in Humboldt is getting closer to becoming a reality, thanks to dedicated group of organizers.
On Saturday, July 8, members of the committee had a booth at the Humboldt Farmer’s Market in order to raise funds as well as answer questions the public might have.
“I think we have pretty much decided on the south end of Humboldt by the recycling center. It is still in town, but a little isolated, has adequate parking and enough room,” Three Rivers Tails Dog Park committee member, Jenny Wyckoff, said.
The group has started to raise funds although it is still firming up plans for the actual layout and amenities offered at the park.
Anyone with ideas or questions can contact any one of the committee members: Jenny and John Wyckoff, Kosett and Drake Petersen, Lori Nielsen, Mary Larrabee, Morgan Myers, Tina Jones, Erica Zetlau, Miranda Pedersen, Mike Schachtner, DeDe Merris, Paton Fevold or Beth Jeanette or message the group on Facebook. They can also be reached by email at threeriverstails@gmail.com.
