Wildcats run over St. Edmond girls, 61-27

Morgan Mann scored 29 points to lead the Humboldt girls basketball team to a 61-27 victory over Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Friday night (Jan. 19) in Fort Dodge. The Wildcats improved to 10-4 overall, 6-2 in conference play.

Humboldt girls edged by Iowa Falls-Alden, 64-59
Iowa Falls-Alden snapped Humboldt's five-game win streak in a 64-59 victory over the Wildcats in the Humboldt gym on Tuesday night, Jan. 16.

Ella Sharrar scored 30 points for the Cadets, who move to 5-8 overall, 3-4 in the North Central Conference. Ava Fischer scored 21 points and Morgan Mann had 15 to power the Wildcats, who slipped to 9-4 overall, 5-2 in the NCC.

Humboldt's game at Clear Lake on Thursday, Jan. 18, has been postponed until Monday, Jan. 22, due to a winter weather advisory.

The Wildcats will host Algona on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
