Nielsen family purchases Humboldt Motors
Humboldt Motors is now Nielsen Motors after the purchase of the automotive dealership by the Nielsen family recently from Humboldt Motors owner Gene Wempen. For Gene Wempen it is a fitting exit from his nearly 52 years in the automotive business.
For the Tony Nielsen family it is a new venture providing much of the same services as they do at K.C. Nielsen LTD, quality equipment and customer service.
Tony and sons Tyler and Nick purchased Humboldt Motor Sales from Wempen on April 3.
“We are excited for the opportunity to serve the great customer base that Gene and his crew have taken care of for many years, and we hope to add some new customers as well," Tony Nielsen said.
