Wildcats rally past Forest City, 10-7

The Humboldt baseball team rallied with four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and went on to down the Forest City Indians, 10-7 in non-conference play in Humboldt on Thursday, June 6. The contest was rescheduled from June 4.

Wildcats blast CGD, 17-5
Humboldt baseball earned another lopsided conference victory at Clarion-Goldfield-Dows on June 5 at Clarion, rolling to a 17-5 victory. Humboldt improved to 8-2 overall, 4-1 in the North Central Conference.

Wildcat baseball team blanks Webster City, 10-0
The Humboldt baseball team improved its season record to 7-2 overall, 3-1 in the North Central Conference by shutting out the Webster City Lynx, 10-0 in five innings Monday night (June 3) in Humboldt. Riley Sorensen socked two doubles and drove in four runs to lead the Wildcats. Isaiah Busick earned the win pitching.

Wildcat baseball team in 11-3 victory at Clear Lake
Humboldt beat the Clear Lake Lions, 11-3 on May 31 at Clear Lake. Isaiah Busick homered and drove in three runs to lead the Wildcats, who totaled 13 hits. Coen Matson went 3-for-3 at bat. Riley Sorensen had two hits. Cyler Cirks pitched all seven innings and got the win. He scattered three hits, walked none and struck out three.

Humboldt got back on the winning track Thursday night (May 30) by turning back Southeast Valley, 16-8 in non-conference play at Dayton. Humboldt improved to 5-2 with the victory.

The Wildcats ripped Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Friday, June 7, 16-1. A 7-run second inning carried the Wildcats.

The Wildcats host Iowa Falls-Alden on Monday, June 10.
