Spirit Lake outscored the Humboldt girls' basketball team 18-5 in the third quarter en route to a 50-47 victory over the Wildcats in a non-conference game in the Humboldt gym on Tuesday night, Dec. 10.

Morgan Mann scored 20 points and Kaitlyn Nelson added 14 to lead Humboldt, which slipped to 2-2 overall. Keenan scored 16 points and Turner had 12 for the Indians.

Humboldt will return to action at home against Fort Dodge on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 14. The Wildcats host Forest City on Monday, Dec. 16, and also host Hampton-Dumont-CAL on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Humboldt visits Clear Lake in their final game before the Christmas break.
