Wildcat boys dominate St. Edmond, 95-66

Humboldt’s varsity boys basketball team dominated Fort Dodge St. Edmond in all phases of the game as the Wildcats rolled to a 95-66 victory over the Gaels in North Central Conference play on Tuesday night, Jan. 7.

Coen Matson scored 21 points, Elliot Carlson had 19 and Jackson Flaherty and Mason Van Pelt each had 16 points to lead Humboldt. Jackson Dodd added 14 for Humboldt, 3-4 overall, 3-1 in the North Central Conference. Hunter Horn scored 21 and Grant Galles had 14 to pace St. Edmond, 6-1 overall, 3-1 in conference play.

Humboldt visited Newell-Fonda on Thursday, Jan. 9, and posted a 93-87 victory over the Mustangs in non-conference action. The Wildcats host Iowa Falls-Alden on Friday, Jan. 10.
