Wildcat girls run past Webster City

HUMBOLDT - Morgan Mann scored 24 points to lead the Humboldt girls basketball team to a 59-36 victory over Webster City on Jan. 24. Humboldt moved to 9-7 overall. Mann topped the 1,500-point mark for her career on a home court loss to Algona Garrigan on Jan. 23.
Morgan Mann scored 15 points and Ava Fischer and Paige Nelson had 13 and 10, respectively, to lead the Humboldt girls' basketball team to a 63-38 victory over Fort Dodge on Jan. 20 in the Wildcat gym. Humboldt improved to 8-6 overall. LJ Maehl had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Fort Dodge (6-8). Humboldt also had Jada VanDeWalle score seven points, Ava Newton six, Kaitlyn Nelson five, Meg Zweibohmer five and Landry Lash and Payton Elman with two each.
The Wildcats are at Hampton on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
