Donations sought for angel tree children

The Humboldt County Ministerial Association will have their angel tree at the Faith United Methodist Church Tree Walk. It will be located in the northwest corner of Morehouse Hall. People are encouraged to take an angel tag from the tree and pur-chase a gift for a child to be in-cluded in the Christmas food box distribution. Wrap the gift and securely at-tach the pink or blue angel tag to the gift. Please bring the wrapped and tagged gift to the Commons build-ing at the Humboldt County Fair-grounds on Monday, Dec. 17, be-tween the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. You will place a smile on the face of a child who will be receiv-ing your gift. The Humboldt County Ministe-rial Association has sponsored the Christmas Food Box program for over 15 years, administered in cooperation with Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Inc. These boxes provide food for a family holiday meal, and by your caring donation, each child in eve-ry family who is 18 years of age or less will all receive a gift for Christmas. The Angel Tree will only be located at the Tree Walk.
