Soup and Song supper and music is March 4

The Humboldt School Vocal Music Department and the Humboldt Music Boosters will present an evening of “Soup and Song” on Monday, March 4. The Soup Supper will be served in the high school cafete-ria from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. Pip-ing hot chili and chicken noodle soup is the main course, accom-panied by relishes, famous cin-namon rolls, and drink. The cost of the meal is $6 for ages 11 and up; and $3 for ages 10 and under. The meal price does not include admission to the concert. Soup Supper tickets are avail-able from music students in grades 7-12, and at the door. Humboldt music students will provide music during the meal. Following the meal, the concert will include performances by the sixth grade chorus, sev-enth/eighth grade chorus, high school Jazz Choir, and Concert Chorale. Concert selections will in-clude classic hits from musical icons such as Whitney Houston, Elvis, Nat King Cole, Ray Ste-vens, Henry Mancini, Bill With-ers, Disney, and great music of the ‘60s. This program of music is built to uplift your spirit and soothe your soul. Complete with solos, movement, choreography, and lighting effects, this will be a concert to remember. Concert admission is $3 adults and $2 students.
