Humboldt girls qualify for 4A state golf!

The Humboldt High School girls' golf team earned a trip to the Class 4A State Tournament after placing runner-up in a regional at Storm Lake on Monday (May 20). The Wildcats totaled 414 strokes to hold off third-place Carroll (419). Clear Lake was the regional champ with 374 strokes. Humboldt's Savannah Schnetzer led the Wildcats in shooting 93. Caitlin Kohlhaas shot a 95. Ashley Samuelson, Shelby Shepard and Taylor Weydert each had 113. The state meet will be held in Ames May 28-29.
