School registration is next week for area students

School registration gets underway next week at several Humboldt County area schools. At Humboldt, school registration takes place on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 5-6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the new Humboldt Middle School cafeteria. Last names A-L are encouraged to register on Monday and last names M-Z on Tuesday. First day of school at Humboldt is Thursday, Aug. 15. First day of school for kindergarten and first grade will be Monday, Aug. 19. First day of preschool (ECLC) will be Tuesday, Aug. 20. The first day for St. Mary Catholic School in Humboldt will be Thursday, Aug. 15. Registration will be Monday, Aug. 5, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday Aug. 6, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Twin Rivers Elementary will also start classes on Aug. 15. CWL will begin classes on Monday, Aug. 19, and Gilmore City-Bradgate and West Bend-Mallard will begin classes on Thursday, Aug. 22.
