Wildcats shutout South Central Calhoun, 14-0
Humboldt's varsity football team improved to 2-0 on the season Friday night (Sept. 6) by shutting out South Central Calhoun, 14-0 in a hard-fought, non-district game at Lake City. The Wildcats got a 2-yard touchdown run by Brady Ross late in the third quarter and Nikko Wheeler scored on a 5-yard dive with 57 seconds left in the game to spark the Wildcats. Humboldt returns home Sept. 13 to host Iowa Falls-Alden.
