Humboldt wrestlers win key NCC double dual

Humboldt's varsity wrestling team won a key North Central Conference double dual last week (Dec. 12) when they defeated Clarion-Goldfield (44-27) and Algona (63-15). Bonus points as a result of pins, helped Humboldt rack up the needed points to improve to 7-0 overall on the season, 2-0 in the NCC.The Wildcats wrestle at Ogden on Dec. 14 and host Iowa Falls-Alden on Dec. 17.Subscribe to the Humboldt Independent Newspaper for complete story, results and photos.
