HHS girls down Lynx, 48-44

The Humboldt girls basketball team will take a 3-4 overall record into the Christmas break after they held off the Webster City Lynx, 48-44 on Dec. 20 in the Humboldt gym.Kessa Kuyper scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Humboldt. Lauren Friesth supplied 11 points. Maggy Duffield and Avery Terwilliger were next with seven apiece.Humboldt, 3-3 in the North Central Conference, will be off until Jan. 3 when they travel to Iowa Falls.See complete story, statistics and photos in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
