Humboldt boys into break at 6-1 after beating Webster City, 72-63

The Humboldt boys' basketball team enters the Christmas break with a 6-1 record after they posted a 72-63 victory over the Webster City Lynx on Dec. 20 in the Humboldt gym.The Wildcats, 5-1 in the NCC, had five players score in double figures, led by Jaxon Heinz with 15 points and Nick Heider and Austin Zylstra each with 14. Brady Ross muscled in 12 and Jack Curran added 11. Mason Myers led the Lynx with 16 and Avery Fuhs added 15.Humboldt will return to action after the Christmas break when they visit Iowa Falls-Alden on Jan. 3.
