Wildcat girls fall in regional soccer opener, 3-2

Webster City scored a pair of goals in the second half to upend Humboldt, 3-2 in a girls' Class 1A Region 3 soccer game in Humboldt Tuesday night (June 3) at Mason Maach Field in Humboldt. Morgan Weydert and Maddie Thomas each had a second half goal for the Wildcats, who end their season with an overall record of 6-5 in only their second year of fielding a team.
