Wildcats place 5 on All-NCC softball team

The Humboldt softball team has five players who were selected all-conference by league coaches.Freshman shortstop Beth Duffield is a unanimous first-team pick, along with freshman Avery Terwilliger as a utility player. Senior second baseman Maddie Thomas is a first-team pick, along with senior center fielder Lauren Friesth. Freshman catcher Kelsey Peters was chosen second-team.Terwilliger led the NCC in hitting with a .604 average. Duffield batted .458 and led the NCC in stolen bases with 24.Humboldt finished 22-12 overall, fourth and 11-6 in the conference standings.
