Humboldt girls win NCC cross country title, boys place 6th
Humboldt's varsity girls' cross country team claimed another North Central Conference championship Tuesday (Oct. 14), winning the top spot in the meet held at Joe Sheldon Park in Humboldt. Humboldt finished with 35 points to outdistance runner-up Fort Dodge St. Edmond at 66. Maddie Kampen was the overall winner for the girls in leading Humboldt. The Wildcat boys placed 6th in their division as they were led by Jon Schaffer, who placed ninth individually.Next action for Humboldt is the Class 3A state qualifying meet in Perry on Oct. 23rd.
