WILDCAT VOLLEYBALL TEAM WINS NCC CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The Humboldt High volleyball team claimed the North Central Conference Championship Thursday night (Oct. 23) by turning back the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets in four sets before a packed, noisy crowd in the Humboldt gym. The Wildcats won by scores of 28-26, 25-18, 23-25 and 25-22. The triumph was also the regular season finale for both teams as Humboldt will take a 22-8 overall record into their Class 4A Regional Tournament opener at home against Webster City on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. The Wildcats finished 6-1 in the NCC for their second conference title in school history.See complete story in the Humboldt Independent.
