NCC volleyball champ Humboldt places 6 on all-conference team

North Central Conference volleyball champion Humboldt placed six girls on the league’s all-conference team, released by conference coaches recently. Wildcat senior middle hitter Maggy Duffield earned first-team honors, along with sophomore middle hitter Abby Zaugg. Humboldt had three players chosen to the second-team unit, they include junior outside hitter Talyn Larsen, junior setter Morgan Weydert and sophomore outside hitter Taylor Gidel. Beth Duffield, a sophomore libero back row specialist, was chosen to the third-team. The contingent helped Humboldt compile an overall match record of 23-9, 6-1 and first in the NCC.
