Clear Lake man killed in accident near Livermore

A Clear Lake man lost his life when he failed to negotiate a curve on County Road C-20, two miles east of Livermore, Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 17. According to the Iowa State Patrol (ISP) Richard W. Goscinski, 39, Clear Lake, was pronounced dead at the accident scene after he failed to negotiate a curve two miles east of Livermore. According to the report, Goscinski was operating a 2004 Mack cement mixer. Goscinski was headed eastbound and the truck left the roadway on the right shoulder and landed in the northwest ditch, where it overturned and rolled over on its top, pinning Goscinski beneath the wreckage.
