Humboldt boys to 6-1 after 96-69 rout

The No. 10 ranked (Class 3A) Humboldt High boys' basketball team ran their season record to 6-1 overall, 4-0 in the North Central Conference, by running past Iowa Falls-Alden, 96-69 Friday night (Dec. 19) in the Humboldt gym. It was Humboldt's final game before the Christmas break. Thomas Orness scored 19 points, Jaxon Heinz 18 and Austin Zylstra and Brenden Schnell each had 13 while Christian Birdsell added 12 to lead Humboldt.
