Wildcat wrestlers 4th in Spencer Invitational, Madsen 1st at 160

Mike Madsen placed first at 160 pounds to help the Humboldt High wrestling team to a fourth-place finish in the Spencer Invitational Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 20. Adam Mickelson was second at 182 pounds while Levi Sawyer, Zane Russell, Austen Gargano and Cordes Olthoff each ended up third. Jaden Kampen was fourth 138, Gus Arnold fifth at 170, Dakota Applegate sixth at 220, Zach Kollmorgen seventh at 106, and Logan Moser seventh at 145. Sibley-Ocheyedan won the 11-team field with 164 points, edging Central Lyon-George-Little Rock (162.5), Sergeant Bluff-Luton (155.5) and Humboldt (148.5).See complete story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
