HHS girls top Algona, boys fall

HUMBOLDT - Humboldt's varsity girls' basketball team picked up another North Central Conference victory here Friday night while the Wildcat boys fell to visiting Algona. The girls posted a 55-49 victory while the boys fell 69-47. Avery Terwilliger scored 18 points and Kessa Kuyper added 14 to lead Humboldt's girls, 6-5 overall, 4-2 in the NCC. Jaxon Heinz netted 16 and Thomas Orness made 10 to lead the Wildcat boys, 7-4 overall, 4-2 in conference play.See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
