Humboldt's boys end season in loss to Lynx in 3A district
A return trip to the state basketball tournament will not be in the cards this year as the Humboldt High boys saw their season come to an end in an 82-67 loss to Webster City Thursday night (Feb. 26) in a Class 3A district final in the Fort Dodge Senior High gym.Jaxon Heinz scored 25 points and Brady Ross added 24 to power the Wildcats, who end their season at 15-7 overall. Webster City was led by Mason Myers with 37 points and 17 from Alec Fuhs.
