Wildcat track teams in Storm Lake Relays

The Humboldt High girls' track team placed second and the boys were fourth in the Storm Lake Relays on April 30. The girls won four events as Beth Duffield won the 200 and 400 meters while Maddie Kampen won the 800-meters. Humboldt also won the 4x800 relay.Humboldt's boys got a first from Tony Nielsen in the 100-meters and the Wildcats' 4x800 and 1,600-meter medley relays also claimed first-place.Next action for Humboldt is May 5 when the boys visit Algona and the girls run at Mason City.See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
