Humboldt baseball team sweeps Algona

The Humboldt baseball team solidified their efforts in seeking a North Central Conference Championship by sweeping the Algona Bulldogs in a pair of games Friday night (July 3) in Humboldt.The Wildcats swept the Bulldogs by scores of 6-1 and 6-5. Humboldt is now 18-5 overall, 10-2 in league play. They'll visit Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Tuesday, July 7 at 12 noon in a makeup from Monday's rainout and host Manson-NW at 6 p.m. on July 7.
